OUR IDENTITY

In 2003, the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks (MDWFP) established the Mississippi Wildlife, Fisheries, Parks, Marine Foundation (MWFPM Foundation), formally known as the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks (MDWFP), to assist in protecting and preserving our state’s rich wildlife heritage.

OUR PURPOSE

Your donation will be used in general support of the Foundation’s efforts across the state. More than 90 percent of the Foundation’s spending is directed to its mission.

The Foundation annually reports on charitable activities and directs independent audits be performed on its financial stewardship.

OUR SERVICE

Through the Foundation’s financial support, various wildlife, marine, and educational projects associated with MDWFP and MDMR are made possible.

We also help fund many additional programs that share the goal of preserving and protecting Mississippi’s natural resources—both inland and along our coast.
